Whitney Lehn Meltz (they/them) is a desert trans-plant and artist of oddities. Whitney spends their time designing and fabricating props, dioramas, and puppetry for companies such as Meow Wolf and Cirque du Soleil, occasionally teaching classes for UNLV’s theatre department, and freelancing as a scenic and puppetry designer around the country. Whitney also recently co-founded the Loose Thread Puppet Cult and received a grant to create Las Vegas’s first-ever Puppet SLAM series, for which they serve as Curator and Co-Producer.

Skilled in a wide range of materials and techniques, I build props, puppets, and sculptures of any scale. Bring your own design or let me create one for you and I’ll make it happen for you in my studio.
